Disability inclusion in the workplace

  Disability has long been associated with a wheelchair and some sort of adaptive equipment device. This is often an overlooked group, which isn’t minuscule either. However, things changed with the concept of disability inclusion, but the impact was merely driven by the thoughts of charity or legal obligation. In that light, accommodations and diversity were just simple checkboxes. If you talk about the reality, there are millions of people with some sort of disabilities.   Considering them as a group of productive people, inclusion is no longer a nice to do moral imperative. Disability inclusion in the workplace can mean a high-octane fuel for economic growth and social resilience. What’s significant here? There is obviously a labour shortage in the UK, so ignoring millions of people with varied potentials can be an economic blunder.
